Ian Catterall is the founder of Catterall Solutions Group, the parent company behind Legion Post Hub, a modern operating system crafted to enhance the way veteran organizations communicate, organize, serve, and grow.
As a service-disabled veteran with 21 years of active-duty service in the United States Air Force, Ian has built a strong leadership foundation grounded in accountability, disciplined execution, process improvement, and mission-focused service. This military experience informs his approach at Catterall Solutions Group, where he develops practical veteran organizations tools that depend on strong communication and dedicated leadership.
In addition to his military background, Ian possesses vast expertise in operations management, project leadership, system implementation, workforce development, safety, and process improvement. He holds an MBA in Project Management and has successfully guided teams through complex organizational changes, including enterprise system rollouts, operational improvement initiatives, and large-scale community events.
Ian’s work with American Legion Post 534 in McFarland, Wisconsin, provided him with invaluable insights into the challenges faced by many veteran organizations. These challenges include managing events, engaging members, coordinating volunteers, tracking engagement, supporting buddy checks, and advancing the mission with limited time and resources. This experience led to the development of Legion Post Hub by Catterall Solutions Group. Unlike generic software platforms that are simply repurposed for posts, Legion Post Hub is a purpose-built system tailored to the real operational needs of veteran organizations, offering essential tools for success.
